Dad, just a fun thing that I just heard from Elder Nembaware that I wanted to tell you. he e-mailed me and told me that a woman (Celestina) that I baptized in "Oyoko", her husband is getting baptized at the end of this month, and Elder Nembaware says he always calls him before church and tells him he's so excited to come, and that's he's "Finally a real member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!" Oh man, it was so nice to hear that! We worked with Celestina for a couple months before she was baptized, but she really had a testimony and got an answer one night! She was the first person to tell me she got an answer that the church was truly from God. At her Baptism, her husband decided to come to church with her for the first time when I was there. We had a few encounters with him in the past, but he was always drunk and I guess he had a really bad drinking problem. But one time when we went to see him. He was still drunk, but he sat us down, and very sincerely said that he needed to join his wife in the church, that he needed to stop drinking. Later that day he told us he prayed (and we didn't even ask him to) and he said he knew he needed to be baptized with his wife! Oh man, it just makes me so happy! They have a little baby boy, and now that whole family will be members of the church! The Father is going to be baptized on the 28th Elder Nembaware said. Such a huge turn around for that family! His name (the father) is Kojo, or Richard. Anyways, I just thought I'd mention what I probably consider the biggest success on my mission so far! It makes me so happy, because a lot of the work seems like it's just going to waste. But then something like that just makes it all the better!
